As Medical Mission Sisters, we are called to live as a healing presence in our world today. We are women with great passion…for wholeness, for justice, for life. Like our founder, Mother Anna Dengel, M.D., ‘the needs and sufferings of humanity’ find an echo in our hearts, when individuals and communities are denied the resources and opportunities they need to live as human beings.
She laid the important ground work for our sisters to explore more fully what it means to be a healing presence among people in need, what it means to empower others, to bring them to an awareness of their basic right to life and to health. She dreamed of a world where no boundaries existed, where all had access to what would make them fully human, and so do her Sisters today.
We gladly invite young women to join hands with us in the healing ministry of Jesus the Healer.
